AirTM & Uphold

As of December 1, 2017, AirTM will no longer be connected to Uphold, backed by our reserve or using our platform for any transactions. We understand this change may prompt questions or concerns. Our team has worked to answer your questions below:

What if I want to move my funds to AirTM? Should you chose to move your funds out of your Uphold account you will need to follow these steps prior to November 30, 2017:

  1. Login to your Uphold.com account
  2. Initiate a transfer to an external wallet or platform such as AirTM
  3. This transfer MUST be completed by YOU, the Uphold member and CANNOT be initiated by a third party platform or app.
  4. Remember, you will need to complete this transfer on or before November 30, 2017.

What if I use AirTM, not Uphold?

As an AirTM user, you are also a valued member of Uphold with a verified account. You will continue to have access to your Uphold account after this migration. The only reason you would need to move funds off Uphold is if you wish to use AirTM’s services you will need to transfer any funds from your Uphold account to AirTM prior to November 30, 2017.

The AirTM team will email you instructions on how to perform this transfer. Please keep in mind this will require you to log in directly to your Uphold wallet to move any value off Uphold you wish to use at AirTM. Keep in mind, you will NOT be able to perform this transfer from any third party application or website. You will need to perform the transfer from your Uphold wallet BEFORE November 30, 2017 for funds to be processed.

  1. Login to your Uphold.com account
  2. Initiate a transfer to an external wallet or platform such as AirTM
  3. This transfer MUST be completed by YOU, the Uphold member and CANNOT be initiated by a third party platform or app.
  4. Remember, you will need to complete this transfer on or before December 1, 2017.
  5. Any transaction that has not completed by December 1, 2017 will be canceled in our system.  If funds have already moved to an AirTM escrow account, you will need to contact support@airtm.io for the return of those funds.  Uphold will not be responsible for any funds remaining in the AirTM accounts that have not been completed by AirTM.
