Coreum Blockchain’s mainnet is set to launch on the 24th of March 2023 at approximately 04:00 AM UTC.
The Coreum team has planned a series of community airdrops to encourage participation in the new Coreum ecosystem.
100,000,000 CORE tokens will be airdropped to COREUM holders and 50M xCORE tokens (Option Tokens with a Strike Option Price of $10) to both SOLO and XRP holders.
To qualify for the COREUM airdrop, you will need to hold COREUM at the time of the snapshot.
To qualify for the xCORE airdrop, you will need to hold XRP, and/or SOLO at the time of the snapshot.
-
The COREUM airdrop will be distributed to users who hold COREUM tokens at the time of the snapshot (24th March 2023, 04:00 am UTC). Token distribution will start on April 1st, 2023 (25% of total airdrop allocation). The remaining 75% of the airdrop will be distributed on 1st June, 1st August, and 1st November 2023 (25% on each date).
- The xCORE airdrop will be distributed to users who hold XRP and/or SOLO tokens at the time of the snapshot (24th March 2023, 04:00 am UTC). 25m xCORE tokens have been allocated for XRP holders, and 25m xCORE tokens have been allocated for SOLO holders. The xCORE token distribution will take place on the 15th May, 2023. 100% of the xCORE tokens allocated for the airdrop will be distributed.
xCORE is an Option Token that can be exchanged for COREUM tokens if the COREUM price reaches and stays above $10.00 for 240 consecutive hours (10 days) or expires on March 24th, 2025, 04:00 AM UTC. After its expiry, regardless of the price, holders of xCORE are eligible to exchange 1:1 to COREUM tokens via a smart contract on the Coreum Blockchain.

Everything you need to know about snapshot and distribution timelines can be found in the table below, which has been taken from Coreum’s official Medium post.
You can visit their page for more details.
The final ratio calculation of the xCORE airdrop will depend on the total number of XRP and/or SOLO holdings participating in the airdrop. The ratio will be calculated and announced officially post-snapshot date.
Snapshots are used to capture a token holder's balance at a specific moment. The number of tokens a user receives from an airdrop is based on the number of tokens they held at the time of the snapshot.
