Find out about the closure of the Uphold card scheme for customers in the U.S.
Uphold is transitioning card providers in the U.S. which means its existing program can no longer continue.
We expect to launch a new program in the near future and will share more details as soon as they become available.
Certain customers, (with a card starting 5150 68XX XXXX XXXX), will have access with limited functionality to the dedicated Uphold Card App.
This is separate to the regular Uphold Wallet which will continue to be accessible via app and web.
Yes. Uphold is working to launch a replacement debit card program in the U.S. in the near future. We’ll share more details as soon as they become available.
Cards starting 5150 68XX XXXX XXXX will cease to work from March 31st.
Cards starting 5160 91XX XXXX XXXX will cease to work from April 30th.
Any charges attempted after the dates specified here will be declined.
Support for the card will remain in place for 60 days following the termination date via cardsupport@uphold.com.
To avoid disruption, please provide alternative card details to any merchants with whom you have authorized recurring payments.
Valid refunds will be processed as normal and credited to your Uphold balance.
You can raise a dispute or 60 days following the date of termination by:

No. Cards issued to UK customers will be unaffected.
