Why am I being asked to configure a new Two-Factor Authentication method?

In an effort to provide increased account security, Uphold has implemented a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) algorithm for Two-Factor Authentication. TOTP protects you against SIM cloning by linking the security protocol to your smartphone rather than your telephone number. This means that if someone clones your SIM card, they can't compromise the security of your Uphold account.

Read more about the benefits of TOTP and use the links below for instructions to set up Two-Factor Authentication on your Uphold account.
