Why is Uphold no longer supporting accounts in New York?
Due to a change in our service provider we can no longer support accounts in the state of New York as of July 31, 2023.
What if I didn’t withdraw by the deadline?
If you didn’t withdraw your funds by the deadline and had a linked bank account, your balance was automatically transferred there before your account was blocked.

I no longer live in New York, can I reopen my Uphold account?
Yes. You’ll need to update your address to a Supported Jurisdiction. If you haven’t reached out to our Customer Service team yet, contact us here so that we can help you.
