- August 31, 2023 - Uphold announces support for the EVR airdrop.
- January 15, 2024 - Evernode network launched.
- February 20, 2024 - Uphold to process & distribute the airdrop to qualifying customers on February 28th.
- February 28, 2024 - Uphold processed the airdrop for distribution.
Evernode was launched on 15 January at 6pm AEDT and has been designed to bring smart contracts to the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
As a sidechain to the XRPL, Evernode is intended to allow decentralized applications to scale more efficiently with the XRPL by combining Evernodes’ ‘HotPocket’ protocol with the ‘Hooks’ amendment.
EVR is the network’s native currency, and is used to reward nodes for participating in the Evernode network.
Evernode has four main components:
- Consensus Protocol
- Native Currency (EVR)
- Evernode Hook
- DEX
To qualify, you must have had at least 1 XRP in your Uphold wallet at the time of the snapshot.
1st September 2023 at 6.00pm AEST (8:00am UTC).
Evers (EVR) will be airdropped using the following ratio, until a maximum of 50,000 XRP held.

E.g.: if you held 60,000 XRP at the time of the snapshot, only 50,000 XRP will be accounted in the ration: 0.002088940273273570 EVR x 50,000 XRP = 104.447013663679 EVR.
We are in the process of claiming the airdropped amount and are now working to distribute it to all our customers according to the applicable ratio.
We aim to conclude the EVR airdrop distribution by the end of February, with a target date of February 28th.
EVR will not be tradable on Uphold until it satisfies our full listing criteria and liquidity requirements are met. This means you might initially only be able to hold your Ever tokens once they have been airdropped to your Uphold wallet.
