The first step to register an application in production and obtain the API Keys is to create a business account with Uphold. Sign up for an account and click "business" when prompted to get started. If you'd like to talk with someone on our team about a business account and the benefits you'll see, send a note to business-support@uphold.com and we're happy to help you out.
We recommend you develop your application in our sandbox environment first. Our sandbox environment uses testnet value, and is free of all restrictions – allowing developers to freely develop and test their products, and evaluate the platform for their business.
