2-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your account. It works by asking for a one-time code in addition to your password every time you log in. This extra security helps protect your account if someone gets your password, or email.

Important: If you're in a country where SMS 2FA is available (U.S., U.K. or EEA) and you've verified a phone number, SMS 2FA is automatically enabled for you.

You can use either SMS or a 3rd party Authentication App. To change the 2FA method follow the steps below. This requires you to have access to the current 2FA method, if you don't, refer to How can I reset my 2FA?
