If you believe that your account has been compromised, or hacked, please let us know immediately via any of the options listed below so we can take appropriate action.
How do I report a potentially hacked account?
If you have access to your account:
- Mobile: Go to Account Center (top left) > Security > Freeze account
- Web: From the left sidebar, go to More (…) > Security > Freeze account
If you don't have access to your account:
- Contacts us using one of the following methods:
- Fill out the web form.
- Send an email to fraudprevention@uphold.com from your registered email address explaining why you believe your account is compromised. Be as detailed as possible.
We review reported accounts as quickly as possible and, if needed, restrict the account to prevent unauthorized withdrawals until it's fully secured.
