If you're experiencing issues with the Uphold app on mobile or desktop, it may be due to software compatibility, network settings, or security restrictions. Below are common causes and steps to help resolve the issue.

Mobile Troubleshooting

Before you begin: if you're using Vault, ensure that your Vault keys are securely backed up before making any changes.

• Restart your mobile device.
• Update the Uphold app. Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to check for updates.
• Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data in your phone settings.
• VPNs and security software may block access. Try disabling these temporarily to see if the issue is resolved.
• Ensure your phone’s operating system is up to date (to ensure the best experience, the Uphold mobile app now requires a minimum operating system of Android 8 and iOS 15.1).
  • iOS: Update via Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Android: Update via Settings > System > Software Update.
• On your Android Phone Settings, clear the Uphold app Cache.
• Try using a mobile browser – If the app isn’t working, visit wallet.uphold.com through a mobile web browser.
