Connection error
If you experience a connection error while attempting to link your Uphold account to Brave, toggle the Shield status to “down”. Then, retry the registration process with the Shield in the “down” position.

Occasionally, you might encounter difficulties when attempting to reconnect your Uphold account to Brave. These issues typically stem from an ongoing verification process designed to confirm that the person accessing the wallet is the legitimate owner, rather than an imposter or automated system.
To complete the verification process, open your mobile app, click the blue banner labeled “Complete account verification,” and follow the steps provided. Once you have completed the verification, you should be able to link your account with Brave successfully.
