To help keep your account secure, Uphold uses a safer login process when accessing your account from a web browser. Instead of relying solely on passwords, you’ll confirm your login using the Uphold app on your mobile device.
- Have the Uphold app installed on your mobile device
- Are already logged in on your phone
- Are running the app's latest version. Otherwise, open the App Store or Google Play Store and update the Uphold app on your mobile device.
Steps to log in on the web
1. Go to uphold.com and click Log In.
2. Enter your email and password.
On your phone:
If the Uphold app is installed and you're logged in, you’ll receive a push notification*.
- Tap the notification.
- Confirm the login by selecting "Yes, it’s me".
*If you don't receive the push notification (e.g., your phone is in Focus mode or due to your notification preferences), launch the Uphold app directly.
3. In some scenarios, for security purposes, you might get prompted to use your phone’s camera to scan a QR code displayed on your computer.
4. Once verified, you'll be logged in on the web and see your Uphold dashboard.
Note: The web version is not available on mobile devices. If you try to log in from a mobile browser, you’ll be directed to use the Uphold app or prompted to install it if you haven’t already.
