I’m not receiving emails from Uphold
If you're not getting emails from Uphold, try these steps to troubleshoot:
- Check your Spam Folder: Sometimes emails might accidentally end up in your spam folder. Make sure to check there.
- Review Email Filters: Your email might have filters that automatically sort emails into different folders or mark them as spam. Check to see if these filters are affecting Uphold emails.
- Verify Email Storage: If your email inbox is full, new emails can't come in and will be returned to the sender. Make sure you have enough space in your email account.
- Turn Off Email Forwarding: If you've set up your email to automatically forward to another address, Up hold emails might be going there. Double-check your forwarding settings.
- Examine Email Client Settings: Sometimes, email clients can block certain senders. Look through your email settings to ensure Uphold isn't blocked.
- Account Security: If you've done all the above and still aren't receiving emails, it could be a sign that your account may be compromised. If you think your account might be compromised, it's important to contact us immediately for help.
I’ve received an email, but the link doesn’t work
If you're having trouble with a link in an email not working, it might be because of how you're connecting to the internet or the device you're using. To help fix this, try the following steps:
- Device and network consistency: Use the same device and IP address throughout the login or password reset process.
- VPN connection: Disconnect any VPN during the process because it might be interfering with your access to the link.
For Apple device users, also consider the following:
Before attempting to use the email link on your Apple device, ensure that your Private Relay setting is turned off.
To turn off Private Relay:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Apple ID, then iCloud.
- Tap Private Relay.
- Toggle it off

I see an error message when logging in to the app or website
If you encounter a generic error message, please check if you are using a VPN connection. If you are, try switching to a different IP address or disconnecting the VPN and then attempt to log in again. If you are not using a VPN, please try connecting to a different network.
